Adler Photo – Master Location Lighting
About this class
Master Location Lighting is an in-depth class that provides you with the skills and knowledge you need to create professional images in any environment. Whether you’re shooting outside, at someone’s home, a business, or just about anywhere, I’ve got you covered!
With more than 12 hours of content, I begin with the essential foundations of location lighting and then build through many real-world case studies. You’ll learn how these tools and techniques can be used for headshots, group portraits, personal branding, fashion editorials and more.
From balancing exposure, to choosing the right light source, I’ll provide you with practical strategies to evaluate a scene and learn how to modify the light effectively. You’ll see what is possible with a single light or how to build to multiple lights for more control and separation.
Whether you are shooting with limited gear, a small space, high noon, or extremely low lighting, I’ll also prepare you for a range of challenges you’ll often encounter when shooting on location. You’ll learn to navigate natural light situations, supplement existing lighting, or replace it entirely with strobes, speedlights, or continuous light.
By the end of this class you’ll have the confidence to tackle any on location lighting challenge and create successful images that you and your clients will love!
